I run with two 1900 X 1200 monitors

so it's a lot of pixels to push around even if only gaming one.

Yeah, it's annoying but sadly most embedded systems are proprietary.

It's the nature of the beast.

People don't collaborate as much with embedded - it's harder than say web apps

Oh yeah, that's annoying. I worked in automotive IT so dealt with FANUC robotics and others... they're terrible with drivers and the like with Windows.

Extremely fickle.

It got so bad with Windows changing host IDs with Win 10 that our main brand released a Linux client.

Well at least that is amazing.

I think behind the secenes most people realize that Window's days are number and working on beimg more platform agnostic.
