I feel like having an ag job and a farm would be comfy af

the size and scale of our horse operations its about 300K annual cost but it breaks even and is a gentlemans farm for a loss/tax write off

IF i choose to keep it I will scale it down and do other things

and we have some small farms around us and a lot of their sons run ag services firms until they take over family farms

my family moved out and did ag as a side piece or about 12-13 years now

neighbors have done it all their lives

I did it all during HS as summer jobs on our farm and others as spending cash when away at boarding school ( I am a spencerite I guess)

Tbh I'm more interested in timber than other stuff

Timber has amaze returns and you dont do fuck

esp hard woods
