1st, most countries, 17 is adult, even if not, its 1 year away from being adult, hence young woman, just as pre-teen is 1 year away from teen
2nd, um, most parts of the world dont have a clear distinction between woman and girl and they are used interchangeably or their language has zero differentiation
3rd, no, actually, biology recognizes literally nothing as development stages are classifications humans made, biology recognizes literally zero difference between 17 and 18 other then 18 is slightly older
