My director didnt listen
so I went to the CFO
who is German
I told him that I could break into his office, steal his credentials and use them to get into most areas of one of the hangars that is locked down
he liked my arrogance
and I proved myself
you have to take risks
dont be scared to ask for opportunities to do more
and if people are not willing to listen, then go above them
and make sure you can back your ass up
Anyways
moral of the story
My escapades got around
I got job offers by DHS and TSA
I turned them down and used some of my contacts as my first customer base
started moonlighting
after several months, I voluntarily ended my contract 3 days before it expired
and started CTI.SEC
partnered with a long-time friend and colleague
very cool to turn down what's prob cushy jobs to make it on your own
question, and please do not take this the wrong way, did you have wealthy parents?
no
I grew up poor as fuck
father was a coke head and alcoholic
mom was an enabler
excellent
with no excitement for your misfortune, that's exactly what I was hopeful to hear
I had to raise my sister
hearing that someone overcame personal and family struggles makes the achievement sound even greater.
very cool of you.
most of it was out of necessity
of course
the business side of things was because I was tired of answering to other people
gray is my idol.. didnt know you were poor too

We lived in Ft. Myers growing up
I used to steal food from people at Ft. Myers beach to feed myself and my sister
I have a good friend who lives there, I know how the place is
my dad would be passed out on the couch drunk
