> Health secretary Matthew Hancock told the BBC’s Andrew Marr that the government is not taking “anything off the table” when asked if emergency powers could involve shutting down entire cities

2020-03-01 20:42:45 UTC

"questioning their capability and undermining their performance. "

2020-03-01 20:43:16 UTC

this is the obvious key, shes kicking their arses into shape - we know the civil service was trying at every turn to hurt brexit

2020-03-01 20:44:25 UTC

I'm imagining that civil service would need reform

2020-03-01 20:44:43 UTC

I'm thinking of like a "control rod" type situation

2020-03-01 20:45:16 UTC

Where middle management at some points should be pulled out a put in when government changes party

2020-03-01 20:45:36 UTC

And have party middle management in agencies

2020-03-01 20:46:05 UTC

That keeps political bias towards the party in power at bay

2020-03-01 21:09:51 UTC

oh were we doing 9axes

2020-03-02 07:35:26 UTC

Allah is hella gay

2020-03-02 08:18:57 UTC

Muslims = owned

2020-03-02 08:29:16 UTC

I don't see how you can be a homosexual and a Moslem

2020-03-02 08:39:34 UTC

Hate some of the questions from this quiz. Too many are clearly lined up with a prescribed intent, and some just throw something in that skews any answer to the question.

2020-03-02 09:28:48 UTC

@Lios I think that's the idea of the quiz tbh, unless you mean the prescribed intent is "good" or "bad" person by the creators idea

2020-03-02 09:35:45 UTC

No, there are seriously questions in which whether you answer yes, it can mean numerous different things, of which no quantification to your position can be made. Point in the homosexual marriage question. It states "Homosexuals should not be treated equally to heterosexuals with regards to marriage, filiation, adoption or procreation"

Well, I think they should be treated equally in marriage, as there are financial benefits to most western nations when it comes to marriage. Filiation, what fucking choice do you have? Adoption, grey area. Procreation? They cannot procreate. The fuck is that even doing in the question? Where does it quantify your position on disagreeing or agreeing when that is part of it?

2020-03-02 09:37:31 UTC

If all of those questions are meant to be tied together as agree or disagree, you reach a potential impasse on some points, and cannot answer the question

2020-03-02 09:37:49 UTC

Not even as a neutral, as some points you fully agree or disagree

2020-03-02 09:57:17 UTC

Just say "yes" because that is the correct answer

2020-03-02 09:57:49 UTC

Fair.

2020-03-02 10:02:51 UTC

Marriage should be explicitly between a man and a woman

2020-03-02 10:22:21 UTC

Wow Shit link

2020-03-02 10:38:12 UTC

@Lios agreed. I have no problem with gay people getting married aside from it was clearly just an attack on the church

2020-03-02 10:38:51 UTC

Good fuck the Church

2020-03-02 10:49:35 UTC

> Sexual assaults are partly caused by men's natural impulse.
is there a rapists who wasn't driven in part by their want for sex?

2020-03-02 10:54:11 UTC

Why fuck the church, they are fairly uninvasive and tend to have a benefit on the people who believe in the religion, and as far as I'm aware Christianity doesn't have any traditions or ideas that are that harmful

2020-03-02 10:54:37 UTC

Not personally a christian, but I agree with a lot of the ideas, and the Bible has some incredible stories

2020-03-02 10:56:13 UTC

You're not going to rape someone if you dont want to have sex

2020-03-02 10:59:33 UTC

@Hopix mentally rape them

2020-03-02 10:59:42 UTC

@Hopix what if you want to teach them a lesson
