they had mass chinese immigration, then hoardes of blacks migrated in from the west. places like liberia and congo where they were radicalised into communism and given ak47's the rhodesian special forces did well against them but got overwhelmed by numbers eventually. my aunt had to abandon the country.

pretty much the same as zimbabwe/south africa communist revolution to replace the upper/middle class with people of an under class that couldn't possibly replace them and carry out the same role/job, then they go from being massive food exporters feeding the rest of the continent, to scavanging for rats on those same farms.
