Catholics used to be hardcore. Father Coughlin ranted about jews & the Fed reserve, supported Hitler & Mussolini, for a decade or so. His radio program probably had more listeners than Rush Limbaugh when nation's pop was far smaller. Even back in the 80s when I was going through Confirmation nothing good was said fo the jews.
