Catholics used to be hardcore. Father Coughlin ranted about jews & the Fed reserve, supported Hitler & Mussolini, for a decade or so. His radio program probably had more listeners than Rush Limbaugh when nation's pop was far smaller. Even back in the 80s when I was going through Confirmation nothing good was said fo the jews. Just that they were the Chosen in the old testament, then they killed jesus and now we were God's chosen.
