I am ultra-paranoid about things left unattended in the open, especially bags and suitcases
Where I was staying was maybe a 10 minute walk from the beach, and I was there at the time. It was right at the tail end of the holiday so we really only had 48 hours left before we flew back, but i think it's 100% removed all thoughts at staying somewhere like that again.
