The European Union faced an unprecedented influx of asylum seekers during the 2014–2016 refugee and migration crisis. The admitted refugees pose a critical challenge, but at the same time represent an opportunity for the host countries’ public finances. If the fiscal balance of immigration is positive, then migrants become net contributors to public budgets, helping to alleviate the aging related fiscal burden. However, we argue that this is highly unlikely to happen with refugees entering extensive European welfare states, at least in the short and medium term. ** By reviewing the existing empirical literature, we demonstrate that the research on the fiscal effects of refugee (or non‐Western) immigration almost uniformly supports the conclusion that the fiscal balance is going to be negative**. The noble aims of humanitarian obligation to accept refugees seem to be in conflict with the pragmatic economic interest – a fiscally beneficial immigration – this time.

Errors in Survey Reporting and Imputation and their Effects on Estimates of Food Stamp Program Participation

**We find that 23 percent of true food stamp recipient households do not report receipt in the SIPP, 35 percent in the ACS, and fully 50 percent in the CPS**. A substantial number of true non-recipients are also recorded as recipients, especially in the SIPP. We examine reasons for these errors including imputation, an important source of error. Both false negative and false positive reports vary with household characteristics, implying complicated biases in multivariate analyses, such as regressions. We then directly examine biases in common survey-based estimates of program receipt by comparing them to estimates from our combined administrative and survey data. **We find that the survey estimates understate participation among single parents, non-whites, and low-income households**, and also lead to errors in multiple program receipt, and time and age patterns of receipt.

Immigration and Economic Performance Across Fifty U.S. States from 1980-2015

The fifty US states experienced diverse increases in immigration since 1980 but shared a similar institutional framework, which allows us to assess the impact of immigration on several macro-level variables of economic performance. We use data from a variety of public sources and the popular shift-share instrument to isolate exogenous variation in migration by state and decade since 1980. Although the overall correlation between immigration and performance variables is positive, analysis of regional and time variation reveals a negative growth relationship between the foreign-born share of the labor force and GDP, per-capita GDP, employment, native employment, and per-capita income. Most of those effects dissipate in level regressions that assess longer-term impacts.

Jews are 2% of the American population yet 46% of the top 1% aswell as 67% of Harvard graduates, the Jewish population has consistently used these power positions to subvert and undermined the American government, they do this by using there there high up positions to fund the nation of Israel (currently the biggest lobby within the United States which revives 30 billion dollars each year). The funding that goes to Israel is used for weapons and missiles which are used to genocide the Palestinian people, and wants to advance itself into the rest of the Middle East (Israel has broken 65 UN resolutions with no repercussions, iraq broken two, got invaded, bombed and toppled), it uses America like a puppet to consistently fear the American public into getting behind a war in the Middle East so that America (aswell as Israel) can destabilize governments in the Middle East (Afghanistan, Iraq, lybia and soon to be Syria) so that there are no threats to the nation of Israel. However this is not the only thing jews use there money on, they also use there high up positions to fund left wing groups, open border campaigns and gay pride parades. All while at the same time teaching kids in the education system that they should have no problem with this and if you question anything then you are “racist” “anti Semitic” or “homophobic”. This eventually will lead to the down fall of the USA because every empire that has fallen has fallen from within and faced a collapse because of this seemingly over night (Spanish empire, Babylonian empire, etc.)
The empire will fall but new nations will rise from the ashes. Some of them will, of course, turn into a third world instead.
