White genes are not as recessive as you think. This has puzzled me some myself. When an Asian mixes with a white the child could pass for white most of the time! When a black mixes with a white, the child passes for black. And black and asian usually looks more black than anything as well but is a strange creature.
One thing to know about white recessiveness is that whites are the most closely related race in the world with a relatively small population and the youngest race as well. This allows a greater possiblity for the dominance of reccessive genes.
Also some white genes are not reccesive at all, just the pigment ones are. blacks who cross with whites generally inherit a more aryan skull type. Intelligence appears to blend perfectly the IQ of the child being in between the two parents, with slightly more inherited from the mother, racial mix breeds score an average IQ between that of the two mixed races as well.
Also one must be aware of this: real blacks from Africa look literally like apes (depending on what area they are from but in general) their skin is pure black, their eyes are yellow where the whites are. They have almost no body hair whatsoever (other than pubes). About %85 of american blacks are mix breeds. If you see a black with a beard for example you can bet he has white genes. American blacks tend to be brown etc. etc. So these little brown babies may look black to us because they are so different from us, but when we compare them to their respective pure black parents we see that in fact they have a lot of white traits and lighter skin. I have even seen blacks with blue eyes and blondish crinkly hair. It is strange how these traits can mix over time.
Also, superior genes tend to dominate.

@Avilio. Good read. I would also like to point out that the color of skin ascribed to a person is highly subjective and quite inaccurate. Brown, Black, white, and yellow are linguistically convenient and often inaccurate.

well to be honest we dont have any other terminology in our language to refer to a specific pigment (not any memorable or usable term, many people dont know the difference between blue and cyan etc.) but as the text above said there are **black** africans. The blackest black pure african, the ones we refer to as black are already mixed. I found that text because i was wondering why white genes are recessive and i was quite happy to find out that they arent but only our perception ofthe mixed race. I am still strongly against racemixing though.
@Avilio. Swarthy was often used for certain white people.
Swarthy means dark skinned. If you like tall, dark and handsome men, you find a swarthy complexion attractive. Not everyone with dark skin is swarthy. The word is usually used to describe someone whose skin is weather beaten and darkened by the sun, or has an olive complexion.
I think that is often called the Mediterranean complexion or Italian conplexion from what ive heard.
