What a fucking great url
Oooh that explains a lot. He's a Leaf
Oh that explains what I read elsewhere. it's a collab between Cloudflare and APNIC.
>APNIC is a non-profit organization managing IP address allocation for the Asia Pacific and Oceana regions
🤔
Eh, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt

@Lucifer Inlustris What you know about this one.
, and thats a GREAT thing! https://twitter.com/RandPaul/status/1093613635245613057?s=19
@stedly its very possible, although its unconfirmed and we can't know for sure but its still possible. Gravity wells can be used for slingshot propulsion.
It's how most of the voyager probes made it out so far in such a short time is a combination of gravity slingshots and ion propulsion
some people call it "Star Hopping" when it involves the gravity well of a star
stephen hawking even once said a cigar shaped craft would be ideal for interstellar travel
Astronomy is/was one of my strongsuits in highschool and college
one hypothesis i have came to mind to that mysterious asteroid
what if it was hollowed out and converted into some form of space station?
for long term generational space travel, such a task would be ideal, because you could in theory build more underground annexes as the population gets larger on such a journey. you would also be able to extract resources from the asteroid as you built more installations, slowly but surely converting it into one large spaceship.
such a trip could take decades or centuries for a group of travelers without ftl propulsion.
