I met him at one of his talks a while back. Can't even repeat some of the things that he saw, he is a bit of a character and it has definitely affected him psychologically in terms of what happened to him.

He has specifically stated before and when I met him that didn't happen, he made a very strong point at the contrast in the treatment where he says he was not physically tortured in any way. He mentioned what he considered to be psychological torture like some sleep deprivation and bright lights and constant questioning. But then he talked about the contrast in what he saw when in palestinian prison where he witnessed real and actual physical torture and killing of prisoners. Whom he said and knew were innocent. I remember him saying this was one of the reasons he was going to continue working for israel.
