giving the North a Martyr really

2017-08-26 04:24:12 UTC

gave them the incentive for Reconstruction

2017-08-26 04:24:12 UTC

@☇Unlimited Power☇ agreed, vindictive is a good word for him

2017-08-26 04:24:32 UTC

@Billy Ray Jenkins yea, fuck lincoln, I'm glad he got shot. He deserved it, it's only a shame it didn't happen sooner

2017-08-26 04:24:37 UTC

Grant pretty much ended Reconstruction in his second term

2017-08-26 04:25:08 UTC

I went to the Dr. Mudd house several times on field trips as a kid

2017-08-26 04:25:10 UTC

Well Yuge I will never call Booth a Hero, because heroes perform their heroic acts when it matters

2017-08-26 04:25:27 UTC

yea, he's not a hero, but he did a good deed

2017-08-26 04:25:28 UTC

Had he done it in 1864 no doubt

2017-08-26 04:25:33 UTC

Yes i agree

Tfw I am liker #1489

2017-08-26 04:26:10 UTC

in other words a heroic act that was justified but only benefitted his enemies

2017-08-26 04:26:17 UTC

which was the black pill of it

2017-08-26 04:26:51 UTC

Jeff's feed just went dead again

2017-08-26 04:27:07 UTC

I've heard conspiracy theories that Booth was an agent of the Rothschilds

2017-08-26 04:27:12 UTC

not sure I buy that though

2017-08-26 04:27:17 UTC

The question I will always have was that Lincoln had NO Security detail to speak of, he would go horseback riding by himself and there were Southern agents all over Washington. Why didnt anyone do the deed before? I cant think of any other reason but the Kike Benjamin

2017-08-26 04:27:20 UTC

didnt want it to happen

2017-08-26 04:27:51 UTC

To me its almost surreal, you have 4 years to pull it off and no one is willing to do it

2017-08-26 04:28:09 UTC

I think there was a crippling sense of honor and dignity

2017-08-26 04:28:24 UTC

war was fought on battlefields at scheduled times in an organized fashion

2017-08-26 04:28:30 UTC

Well not only that but there were plenty of SOutherners not connected to the government

2017-08-26 04:28:35 UTC

who would have done it

2017-08-26 04:28:39 UTC

you didn't off the president while he was going about his normal affairs

2017-08-26 04:28:40 UTC

but no one even tried really

2017-08-26 04:28:46 UTC

thats just wierd to me

2017-08-26 04:28:54 UTC

all it would have took was one good sharpshooter

2017-08-26 04:29:05 UTC

I don't think it was seen as an honorable thing to do

2017-08-26 04:29:22 UTC

Well true but the thing was it didnt even have to do with the govt

2017-08-26 04:29:32 UTC

yea I know

2017-08-26 04:29:35 UTC

there were shitloads of Confederate deserters and soldiers in hospitals

2017-08-26 04:29:39 UTC

who would gladly have did it

2017-08-26 04:29:50 UTC

the entire region I grew up in would ahve done it

2017-08-26 04:29:51 UTC

Booth in fact had direct access to the President for years before

2017-08-26 04:30:01 UTC

the broke confederate POWs out of jail all the time

2017-08-26 04:30:03 UTC

he knew Vice President Johnson personally

2017-08-26 04:30:15 UTC

It was literally that easy

2017-08-26 04:30:16 UTC
