nintendo is by far the worst offender here

they legally prosecute people for emulation consoles they stopped selling 20 years ago and take down fan games that have no chance of ever affecting their profits

they have intentionally conned the consuming public into believing that they have no perogative to improve games visually and rake in the cash selling systems that are a decade out of date

even xbone and gaystation are at least attempting to catch up to PC but nintendo? 900p 30fps, straight outta 2009, everything is either cartoonish to hide the poor render quality or lacks the most basic of post-processing effects

Nintendo is the Apple of gaming

3x markup for obselete tech with proprietary, well, everything, and forcing sales for their garbage hardware by making all their games exclusive to the shitboxes

The Switch uses the same chip as the Nvidia Shield from 3 years ago

20nm process, so roughly 2013-2014 technology

Maxwell based GPU which is 3 generations obselete for Nvidia hardware

Thankfully the quality of their games have made the hardware tolerable

i don't buy from companies that make me play on their trash hardware

its PC or gtfo

if you don't care enough about your customers to make your games on a useful system then I don't care enough to buy the shitty games

I don't have $300 to blow on a glorified tablet
