its a thing
yeah because dog refers to a species
gender is not an identity
just like gender
sex is an identity
which is bullshit
some of them
Sex is biological gender is an identity
but gender is not identity
gender is by definition a combination of how you identify, present yourself, and interact with society
Sex and gender are both constructs
so it is at least partially contingent on individual determination
People might have them as identities, but that doesnt mean that they are an idenity. Just as humanity is something someone might identity with, but thats not what it is.
@Heterosexual Gamer Monarchist First off, when working with any sort of history here, you need to take into account this:The traditional suppression of trans people has long existed, similar to how gay people were suppressed and orcrastized if discovered. Such oppression is very much a part of history and you have to take that into account when discussing this.
gender is biological sex is identity
and anything other man or woman is a glitch
you got it all fucked bro
its harsh but its true
@Arc But they are a small part of it. It's like saying that for an Arab wearing Arab clothes determines Arab clothes. Arabs usually wear Arabs clothes so people could tell they're Arabs but if they wear say British or Chinese clothes it won't make them non-Arabs.
whats the point in reproductive organs that dont work to reproduce
and not including surgical procedures to become infertile
@Heterosexual Gamer Monarchist so gender roles are different across cultures?
How can this be?
@Heterosexual Gamer Monarchist but surly we will see similar clothing if this is biological
@Heterosexual Gamer Monarchist But why what? As for the second point, merely because a lot of "males" fit with their gender identity of being "men", that doesn't mean it applies to the millions of trans/nonbinary individuals that don't find this fitting for them.
Like, this is a sizeable phenomona. A major one.
If you want to see notes on some of the science conducted so far (2016 but still)
