Seriously: I talked my old timer Neighbor this moring about Valsetz. He seemed to know all about it and said last time he was up there it was closed to public. All private land now, so we should think about scouting the area ahead of time.

As an example of prices. 200$ per campsite (beer garden for you drunks though) I think we'd better dig a bit deeper for the planning of this, there's going to be a *MASSIVE* influx of ppl into all parts of the state for this thing.
Two times I've been there have been on weekends. Gates for the direct approach were open, but there are no distinguishing boundaries anywhere to be seen. Town itself is gone, just a bunch of forest roads.
I'll see if there are any routes around those gates.
