Yeah, if anything as Caledus stated the pride parade does not normalize being gay or homosexual at all. It infact puts more attention to the subject encouraging more backlash to it or makinh it look like a "social fad" which does not do it any good either. I mean yeah understandable that at one point homosexuality needed attention to help address social issues, but I find it less of an issue these days. Most people dont give a shit if your gay or not as long as you are not sitting there constantly condecending on others beliefs.
But theb again im just preaching to the choir.
It also takes away from the *gay isnt a choice* arguement when it becomes a *cultural fad*
I donβt mean to change the subject too hard, but can I ask about the steel and aluminum tariffs? I understand that China is by far the biggest producer of those metals, and America is one of the biggest consumers. So why should we be concerned about protecting our steel/aluminum industries? I could see small tariffs on finished products, like foreign cars, computers, and electronics, which America makes a lot of. But our steel/aluminum companies can never hope to outstrip China in the long run, so why not encourage a transition from refining to manufacturing, domestically, and let China stay industrial and produce the materials which we can make more expensive, better stuff out of. China gets a customer, and we get cheap materials as we progress into our information economy. It seems a win/win, rather than the tariffs now where nobodyβs really winning.
Tarriffs are more than just that. The tarrifs are semi punishing. And honestly we arnt hurting badly from them. To be honest everyone overhypes chinas economic power. They really arnt that strong. And what i find ironic is the us pays high tariffs to many other countries on products, but the moment the US says anything about raising ours, not even to their level its bad.
Do you know why? All those countries have many things on a socialist model. And use the tariffs to help pay the deficits that makes. So to tarriff back or them lowering there is would cause to many issies with their models. Notice though the moment it was mentioned about the allies, china was forgotren about by most nations m
In the end its 80% political. The thing about it is China does export a lot of that. But they import massive amounts of food [still not enough to feed their people. But communism]
Much of that food is American soy and rice.
There wont be a trade war. The communists dont want it. It will end in starvation and rebellion against the PRC
@Trebjonn how "right wing" is the progress party?
Guy gives incorrect definition of fascism and thousands of tedtards fall for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHHb7R3kx40
@Deleted User they are the most anti immigrant party
Fascism is when you post Frogs on the internet. Obviously!
I looked at the independent article and I've seen a self-professed norwegian call them fascists and far right
@Deleted User if they were far right they would not be on coalition government
```About Norway , voting for a Nobelprice to Trump, this came from two of our most extreme within the Fremskrittspartiet, our ultra right - notorious for racist and islamofobic views. these people don't represent Norwegian views.
```

They coined the term sneak islamisation is prolly the worst they done and that was 10 year ago
what does `sneak islamisation` mean?
Its when islam sneaks into society by laws or sociatel norms that are destructive
I'm guessing it's Obama going on TV and saying "Islam is the most peaceful religion".
Normatilazation of islams worst parts
That was Bush Jr
@Deleted User for context the 2 biggest parties are 25 % each and progress is 15%
and those two are "Liberals" and the "Center Right" parties?
I guess
Its kinda hard to break down in american terms
Thanks inquisitor Floki for the answer to my question. Makes a lot more sense now.
But they are our rightmost parties
