pretty much. men tend to push each other towards greatness, whereas women tend to bring each other down towards equality. as long as no one is stepping out of line, women can have harmony, but as soon someone is perceived to have an advantage, in beauty, intelligence, status etc., they attack them.

Single women and childless women are like that. Married women, or women looking to create a stable family to raise their kids tend to be conservative. They want their husbands to be successful providers and do not want the government depriving them of their providers sustenance.

i should have clarified that i was mostly talking about single feminist types, or women who haven't yet been successful.

that's not a bad way of putting it. also i think men are more straightforward in their competition whereas women are a bit more underhanded. like i was saying earlier, women are more likely to try and bring others down a peg, rather than trying to go above and beyond their competition. things like gossip, slander, attacking someones appearance etc. are more common with women, but there is obviously some overlap as well.
