The idea of training is 100% self defense. The discussion began with people's concern of being attacked by Antifa type terrorists. We need to be able to survive an attack (solo or in a group), so being physically and mentally prepared is mandatory.
I've also trained in depth, very carefully from the fairbairn sykes methods.
Since we don't have the luxury of training together it is up to each individual to have discipline and prepare to protect himself and his people.
Honestly though Artair you're welcome up here in Eugene, my Dad would gladly teach us both anything about knife fighting

It's a REALLY good knife because of the insane geometric design it has, absolutely brilliant. Cutting limitations put even on double edged blade are shoved aside, that has a 3/16's long blade on the tip that can cut arteries very quickly.
