I kinda like the idea of Madras location because it's a small town and locals will be very diluted with transients who will have no sense of territorial violation by our presence, thus a weak demographic base for confronting us as outsiders.

Yeah, that may be our most practical option, let the traffic come to us rather than pursuing it, and with more guys living around here we'll have better logisitical/lodging resorces.
