@Legiondude most people who think he will just overturn roe v wade dont know how SCOTUS opperates anyway. A case has to come from the lower courts, then it and others are presented to SCOTUS and they decude if they will hear it or pass on it due to legal precident already on the books.
Its not like they sit at the bench and are like. "Today we will vote on x"

SCOTUS can overturn previous rulings, however, as seen by Brown v Board. So theyre not entirely wrong that it ***could*** happen ***in theory*** despite the fact that he stated (multiple times) he thinks (mistakenly imo) that its settled law.
But even then its a process that has to come from the lower courts, than SCOTUS has to decide to hear it or defer

Yea. But process doesn't nessisarly stop it from happening. So you can see how that understanding doesnt really convince any lefty to stop proclaiming doomsday at the fact a Republican is nominating justices
