@Deafmute (ahem) not all Catholics are cucked, and some hate the faggot pope. Also, your ancestors/family were Catholic I believe. Running to the flavor of the month Orthodox Church (some in our group have converted) isn't considered to be an act of faith. Faith has nothing to do with reason. It's usually and should be inherited. It represents culture, and Italians have to agree with this, as they probably benefitted the most from it
I mean cucked by their pope and the general liberalism that is the status quo. There certainly are uncucked parts of Christianity, but it's leadership is in serious need of re-assessment. I think Maybe they are purposely moving towards third-worldism because that's where they see the most potential for future converts. However the quality of those pale in comparison to those who made Christianity great to begin with. Now all they care about is numbers. The stance of the Catholic Church is passive and instead of advocating for the well-being of their own constituents they focus on trying to "please everyone" and we all know where that leads...

Faith is separate from reason, obviously but I wasn't saying reason and faith are mutually exclusive. As for faith = culture, I think to some extent that is true insofar that faith is the spiritual aspect of culture, which is why religious rituals are often inspired by the local culture and become part of the daily lives of people within that culture.
