This actually makes me think of something that happened a week ago in one of my uni classes

We were discussing the league of nations and there was this excerpt of a conference where there were like nine people

Eight of em white european guys and a japanese guy if i remember correctly

So the class gets into discussion about why the majority was white and the general consensus turned out to be that everyone was a racist

So I interjected and said it’s a given if the only nations where non white people reign are a minority

Since at the time you had the colonial european powers and japan as hegemonic powers

There were only 2 independent african nations

And those were ethiopia and liberia

Both of which were irrelevant

So I said, if you have a conference where only the great world powers attend

And the majority of said world powers are ruled by white dudes
