I've had a lot of unpleasant things happen in life but pleasantly enough somehow there seems to always be a way out.

Car breaks down always in decent places. Like before even leaving home I notice the giant leak instead of down the road.

The belt breaks near a big parking lot instead of down the highway.

So what I am saying is, sometimes the bad things but with good situations to resolve them is not bad. Life always has bad things in it. If we are all lucky to have the most pleasant out for those situations, that is great.

but I would attribute a lot of that to your awareness of what life gives you so you should give yourself some credit

It's amazing how long a person can go without interacting with a police officer.

my uncle got caught doing 120ish on the freeway and when the cop pulled him over, he asked him why he was going so fast and my uncle just yelled at him enthusiastically "Dude, it's a Lamborghini!" and the cop agreed and gave him a ticket for 95

going that far over the limit here is instant ban and massive fine

yeah I got lucky I never got caught going that fast
