i had a cheap red dot for like 5 years, held zero on a 20 gauge, switched it to my ar for the last 2 years, and the battery died, and i dont have time to find obscure watch batteries

i tried a holographic sight not long ago though, i dont think i can ever use a red dot again. that spoiled me
That reminds me, I also want to put a scope on my mosin nagant. I’ve read reviews of some $50 scopes and half of them say it works great and the other half say they can’t stand up to the recoil.
I want an EOTech but I'm not about to drop 600 bucks on an AR I paid 500 for
