I already got a little pond but it's too low the birds won't bathe in it

It needs to be elevated and they need to have an oversight on cats and such.

they prefer sand

dry loose sand

proabbly impairs flight less

Yes

Most of them are are fat old lady cats though.

My cat is spry and young and very skinny

So she's very active and playful, spends most her time outside.

My cat hates being picked up. She's not a lap cat either. She dosen't sit on you.

But she's very affectionate otherwise.
