The other day my brother was thinking back at a job he had at some store almost 20 years ago, and how the sales department had super high turnover because so many of them got caught stealing from the company. As we were talking about it, it suddenly occurred to him that most of the sales department were black guys...

The sales manager also got into trouble and got canned, because he wasn't effectively reporting these incidents.

The manager was apparently white. I suggested maybe he didn't report it because he was afraid of being called racist.

My brother also used to work at walmart. And often had to push buggies. There were several black guys who worked there, too. My brother remembered that they were actually pretty good at pushing the buggies around when supervised, but when unsupervised they would often just goof off, and chat with each other until someone told them to do something.
