Yes, and if you notice, it looks like it was a re-used script

2019-10-22 23:17:51 UTC

it didn't fit into Rebels at all

2019-10-22 23:17:56 UTC

had to be shoe-horned

2019-10-22 23:18:09 UTC

Rebels copied the Old Wounds comic book that came out in 2004

2019-10-22 23:18:15 UTC

darth maul shits in a colostomy bag now

2019-10-22 23:18:44 UTC

I chose to believe he was given a robot colon

2019-10-22 23:18:54 UTC

reusing a defeated major enemy seems like a cash grab,to me

2019-10-22 23:19:03 UTC

it pretty much was

2019-10-22 23:19:04 UTC

The old Republic is where it's at

2019-10-22 23:19:10 UTC

which is a creative turn off as well

2019-10-22 23:19:11 UTC

the prequels suck for its villains

2019-10-22 23:19:17 UTC

no central figure like Darth Vader

2019-10-22 23:19:24 UTC

Maul, Dooku, Grievous

2019-10-22 23:19:29 UTC

too many unimportant villains

2019-10-22 23:19:36 UTC

Dooku COULD have been a great villain. But they never get into his background and motivations

2019-10-22 23:19:40 UTC
2019-10-22 23:20:01 UTC

He just seems like a confused old man

2019-10-22 23:20:03 UTC

They even cut a scene out of Ep II that tries to explain Dooku

2019-10-22 23:20:09 UTC

Maul and Dooku screentime is nothing

2019-10-22 23:20:12 UTC

wow really?

2019-10-22 23:20:22 UTC

oh yeah I remember that

2019-10-22 23:20:27 UTC

when Kenobi is talking to the Librarian

2019-10-22 23:20:50 UTC

yep

2019-10-22 23:20:50 UTC

Episode 2 was a Young Adult novel

2019-10-22 23:20:51 UTC

thats the one

2019-10-22 23:21:07 UTC

There is a bust of Dooku in the library

2019-10-22 23:21:12 UTC

I remember the scene where Dooku is like the Sith are in the senate

2019-10-22 23:21:21 UTC

And she is talking about how good a person he was. Turned due to a political disagreement

2019-10-22 23:21:27 UTC

and Kenobi said it was a lie 😄

2019-10-22 23:21:36 UTC

the Senate part I mean

2019-10-22 23:21:49 UTC

Maul was important, but Dooku and Grievous were greatly underutilised. Grievous was basically a comic-relief villain who couldn't do anything right despite how badass his abilities were. Dooku was some scheming old man whose schemes generally amounted to nothing, whose apprentices either went rogue or became cartoonish comic relief villains. You get the jist.

They should've focused more on Dooku's former ties to the Jedi Order, and Kenobi, considering that he was Qui Gon's master.

2019-10-22 23:21:49 UTC

do you guys remember the one where Kenobi is floating in the chamber thing?

2019-10-22 23:22:03 UTC

yeah, hehe. Dooku actually had decent intentions, but was ultimately a pawn of Sidious

2019-10-22 23:22:04 UTC

why was Maul important?

2019-10-22 23:22:12 UTC

he was pretty much irrelevant to the plot

2019-10-22 23:22:28 UTC

he was also the weakest of Palpatine's apprentices

2019-10-22 23:22:46 UTC

the Clone Wars ruined Dooku most

2019-10-22 23:22:49 UTC

unfortunately, darth maul was irrelevant,
Although he could have been a cool character

2019-10-22 23:22:55 UTC

it made him seem confused af

2019-10-22 23:23:00 UTC

Clone Wars did but it didn't
