@Str3tch it literally does

2019-10-29 21:46:34 UTC

in the case of SAD

2019-10-29 21:46:39 UTC

I used to have depression years ago

2019-10-29 21:46:46 UTC

yeah brain inflammation is no good

2019-10-29 21:46:50 UTC

I can basically vouch that it is physical and not actually psychological

2019-10-29 21:46:58 UTC

Psychological = physical

2019-10-29 21:47:07 UTC

i never gave much consideration to the topic

2019-10-29 21:47:13 UTC

I doubt very seriously that its a purely psychological or neurotransmitter thing

2019-10-29 21:47:13 UTC

Dosen't matter. Chemical imbalances are unavoidable. Many can only be corrected with medication, and there's no reason why we shouldn't correct them with medication, other than spooky morals.

2019-10-29 21:47:15 UTC

in fact one of the things that helped me was eating more, eating more protein, drinking water instead of sugar

2019-10-29 21:47:16 UTC

from my experience

2019-10-29 21:47:27 UTC

also being social and especially the number one thing...

2019-10-29 21:47:29 UTC

sleeping more

2019-10-29 21:47:33 UTC

Because medication has side effects, it's much better to just fix the cause

2019-10-29 21:47:37 UTC

Anecdotes.

2019-10-29 21:47:39 UTC

that's my problem, sleep

2019-10-29 21:47:40 UTC

if you really want to sleep in then do it, and you will feel better

2019-10-29 21:47:46 UTC

david duke harps about that

2019-10-29 21:47:55 UTC

I was actually selectively mute when I was 14/15/16 and couldn't even speak to people in public

2019-10-29 21:47:59 UTC

Weaboo its obviously environmental

2019-10-29 21:48:00 UTC

To fix your sleep just get enough sunlight during the day

2019-10-29 21:48:00 UTC

lol

2019-10-29 21:48:01 UTC

a lot of the people with depression are overwhelmed and exhausted by their daily routines

2019-10-29 21:48:02 UTC

@Sytze Side effects really aren't that bad and only occur in a few users.

2019-10-29 21:48:02 UTC

Going outdoors was a huge hassle for me

2019-10-29 21:48:10 UTC

just look at the depression rates over time

2019-10-29 21:48:26 UTC

right people aren't getting enough sunlight, working inside all day

2019-10-29 21:48:26 UTC

if you don't think its largely environmental, you're straight up a retard

2019-10-29 21:48:33 UTC

and eating like shit

2019-10-29 21:48:58 UTC

Weaboo is a moody teen who has assimilated his mental dysfunction into his identity because in 2019 it's cool to be a mentally unsound retard in pop culture and there's all sorts of romanticisation of it

2019-10-29 21:48:58 UTC

some people can be depressed from biological reasons I suppose

2019-10-29 21:49:00 UTC

this is not a genetic change

2019-10-29 21:49:06 UTC

but those people are usually mentally unstable anyway

2019-10-29 21:49:06 UTC

Plus it let's you excuse a lot of your shitty behaviour

2019-10-29 21:49:12 UTC

and drugs don't really help them

2019-10-29 21:49:16 UTC

yeah, depressed they have shitty genes

2019-10-29 21:49:36 UTC

So being unable (unwilling) to resolve your mental illnesses is incentivised because it let's you be a pos basically

2019-10-29 21:49:46 UTC

and garners empathetic attention from others

2019-10-29 21:49:47 UTC

depressed genes is a derp idea, depressed people wouldn't pass on their genes

2019-10-29 21:49:49 UTC

Yeah, okay, just because lifestyle changes can improve symptoms dosen't mean mental illness shouldn't and can't be corrected through other means.

Many bipolar and schizophrenic people rely on medication. No diatary or sleep changes will fix their conditions.

2019-10-29 21:50:07 UTC

schitzophrenia is something completely different
