yeah, you should always have a mortgage,
even if you pay off your mortgage,
then it's time to go back to the bank, borrow money on another mortgage and buy another house,
just don't borrow so much that you might risk loosing the first house, but enough to buy another house and rent it.. in time it will pay for itself
