A tad late to the conversation regarding Jones and Colton but I'll say my piece.

For those of you who aren't military or former military, there is such a thing as a chain of command.

Any and all grievances should be handled through private channels up the chain. No matter your position/rank, you should never discuss your grievances laterally or down the chain. This is what causes drama, general distrust, and ultimately serves only to factionalize and weaken organizations along cliqueish lines.

Going forward, if you have a particular problem, address it to your next highest leader. Their responsibility is to either address it themselves, and if they cannot, they are responsible for passing the problem upward.

All problems and grievances should be handled at the lowest possible level. National leadership shouldn't be bothered with problems that can be handled at the regional, state, or local levels. I realize this particular issue had to involve national leadership, though, but it should not have been discussed with anyone other than Colton's chain of command.

We cannot afford to participate in the same backbiting drama that the Nationalism 1.0/Stormfront guys did in the 90s and early aughts.

I've been talking to Colton privately and (I think) I've gotten him to understand just that
