It's basically a mutation of the idea that individuals have 'inherent rights' mixed quasi-ethnic markers that are pulled out from traits considered inherent.
And so the left has a way to create artificial constituencies with which to attack opposing members of the power structure.
@NeoFuturist but thats probably a good thing. maybe reading about it will make people appreciate sexual diphorphism and gender and start to reject egalitarianism because it reminds them of sci fi story where humanity became androgenous aliens
