Because you're getting it straight from the source instead of going through the normal supply channels where everything gets marked up on each step. Some stuff is good, some is shit, gotta be careful, but there are good deals to be had.

I've received about 200 orders this year, and they've almost all been about what I expected, and very reasonable quality. A few gems, a few I was a little disappointed in, two blatant attempts at scamming, and a couple with minor issues that were resolved.
