the government allows a lot of wealth to be made, and is far from being classless

2017-04-27 01:48:22 UTC

or do we pick and choose the ideas of what makes a government full blown this or that

2017-04-27 01:50:47 UTC

useless lables in the end. they are going to do what they want and keep calling it what they want

2017-04-27 03:17:29 UTC

But as a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs, there's not much wiggle room. Like it or hate it, they're a communist country the same way NK is a democratic republic, and deserve to be called out on it.

2017-04-27 03:31:30 UTC

A fair bit of property is privately owned by really wealthy people

2017-04-27 03:32:24 UTC

and some industry pay is competitive

2017-04-27 03:32:34 UTC

I think most

2017-04-27 03:34:02 UTC

its not really communist at all tbh

2017-04-27 03:55:11 UTC

Mao would be rolling in his grave. Too bad he was so incompetent as chairman that he thought killing all the birds would improve the famine situation instead of making it much much worse.

2017-04-27 03:57:00 UTC

I actually don't know much about Mao, that's just something that stuck out for me.

2017-04-27 04:14:48 UTC

>increase security levels

2017-04-27 04:15:46 UTC

oh baby, I know the struggle of having to hold off on theft when working in a company

2017-04-27 04:17:30 UTC

>also including a review of the food
Man, if everything about China is fucked up, the only one good thing people can get right is the food

2017-04-27 04:35:55 UTC

except they don't

2017-04-27 04:36:44 UTC

I've never had food poisoning as bad as this one time I ate in china

2017-04-27 04:37:20 UTC

Also Mao was basically turned China into Scientology

2017-04-27 04:37:53 UTC

He probably wrote some shit about cleaning windows too

2017-04-27 05:59:17 UTC

where'd you go eat?

2017-04-27 06:00:39 UTC

Mao killed the intellectuals of China for what they had, then destroyed a good amount of the cultural history

2017-04-27 06:01:11 UTC

For whatever reason he's did his best impersonation of stalin

2017-04-27 06:10:03 UTC

and lucked out in the vaccuum when the prior leader chiang kai sek was a control freak who bumbled it all

2017-04-27 06:29:39 UTC

I ate at a hotel restaurant

2017-04-27 06:30:03 UTC

the food was good but just almost killed me

2017-04-27 20:47:31 UTC

how did i almost kill you?

2017-04-28 01:36:41 UTC

my wife is from taiwan, and when you read the history of how Mao took over, and how he ran China afterwards

2017-04-28 01:36:48 UTC

it perplexes you

2017-04-28 01:37:39 UTC

well, both sides were fucked in the head. Mainland RoC before PRC was a bunch of goons who didnt do anything outside of major cities

2017-04-28 01:37:47 UTC

left the people in the styx to rot

2017-04-28 01:37:52 UTC

stix*

2017-04-28 11:31:36 UTC

2017-04-28 12:47:49 UTC

I love China YouTubers. With the exception of cmilk and Winston, everyone's channel is only up for a short time talking about how much they love China, then they do a video "why Im leaving China "

2017-04-28 12:48:05 UTC

It's always the same story.

2017-04-28 12:48:56 UTC

The honeymoon stage ends and they finally see China for it's become - unfortunately.

2017-04-28 12:49:26 UTC

Don't get me wrong, there's some stuff I love about China that we could never do in USA because we lack cheap and massive labor force.

2017-04-28 13:45:22 UTC

you really got to be Chinese to understand china
