also @kaetaa if you go to fo guan shan, don't bother with a bus. taxi from the HSR station is 600 nt$ total and you can easily find a bunch of tourists to share it with. drive time is half than with the bus

also don't get MRT cards from the station, get a prepaid card from 7-11 so you can have a themed one with anime girls on it
