wew, we are not sure then when mine will apply since it depends on her study, but for Switzerland the waiting time is 3-4 months. Yet I can't understand how processing a visa request can take that long.

On the other hand, here she would be allowed to stay on a tourist visa (3 months) while the fiancee visa is pending

2018-01-03 08:45:45 UTC

2018-01-03 08:58:04 UTC

US passport is actually weaker than pretty much the entire EU

2018-01-03 08:58:49 UTC

US is tied 4th with Canada, Ireland, Japan, South Korea and Switzerland with 158 visa free countries

2018-01-03 08:59:56 UTC

Ok you are only using the "how many countries to go without visa"

2018-01-03 09:00:04 UTC

It's much more than that

2018-01-03 09:00:19 UTC

2018-01-03 09:01:20 UTC

2018-01-03 09:01:51 UTC

My Canadian friend with me, gets spit on by the beggars

2018-01-03 09:02:06 UTC

While I am escorted to the premium lounge - comped, of course.

2018-01-03 09:03:12 UTC

My passport is LITERALLY the center of the world, and people know and respect that

2018-01-03 09:03:33 UTC

So you can keep your EU little pamphlets , I'm good

2018-01-03 09:34:00 UTC

as a frequent traveler who often encounter Americans : I often see Americans waving their passports expecting to be treated in a special way and airport staff just shaking their head.
that might work in shitholes .... you know, the shitholes I don't need a visa for ;^)

2018-01-03 11:31:24 UTC

Y-y-y-youre just jealous! I get it. i-i-it must hurt being a europoor. Heh, I bet English isn't even your first language

2018-01-03 12:11:32 UTC

2018-01-03 13:34:27 UTC

imagine having a chink passport and not being allowed anywhere

2018-01-03 13:35:02 UTC

chinks aren't even allowed to move freely in their own country

2018-01-03 13:39:28 UTC

It's true. Their hukou ID system is completely fucked

2018-01-03 13:40:36 UTC

My fiancee is from a 2nd teir city, but her mom is from a 3rd tier city. Population 11mil and 9mil. But because of the classification, fiancee can travel to Taiwan and Hong Kong alone, but the mom MUST use a travel agency and go in huge group

2018-01-03 13:40:55 UTC

That's the main reason why chinks are always in travel groups, because they have to.

2018-01-03 13:41:30 UTC

What's the reasoning for that
