but if law requires you to get permission for protest

sure some countries allow it in the form of "as long as you inform us X days before"

and anything outside of that is unlawfull protest

what gets people jailtime

at least in finland its the same thing only leader (+ ofc violent scum) get arrested on unlawful protests
