@Tervy the trick is to make a chinatown in the middle of the finnish wilderness

2018-06-14 14:55:25 UTC

Then they will just go there an never leave until thier trip is over

I'm curious. As a Japanese who travels occasionally (I went to New Zealand last February), how do Europeans view us?

Are we just "Chinese tourists" like all the rest?

[I try to be polite, attentive to cultural practice, and prepared but that's just me. idk even what regular Japanese are like.]

for me you all look the same <:downs:355737951918882846>
but its down to how you act

2018-06-15 12:31:22 UTC

For me, it's really easy to spot the difference between Chinese and fjapanese when travelling

2018-06-15 12:31:49 UTC

If they are being loud, obnoxious, and doing semi poor looking behavior it's generally Chinese

2018-06-15 12:32:06 UTC

If you can't even notice they are there, and get actually excited at things, it's Japanese

When I was a kid, I used to live in a small town that was really popular to Japanese tourists for a reason that I've never understood. Japanese tourists were cool, just taking an incredible amount of pictures and spending a lot of money in restaurants / hotels / souvenir shops etc

2018-06-15 13:01:33 UTC

Now after a few decades, the Japanese are gone and the Chinese came. The Chinese destroy everything. They let children shit in our lake, shout at each other all night etc

2018-06-15 13:01:45 UTC

I'd take Japanese tourists over Chinese tourists any day

2018-06-15 13:02:04 UTC

I think Japanese are the best kind of tourists

2018-06-15 13:02:23 UTC

The bottom is made by the Chinese, the British and the American tourists

2018-06-15 13:28:13 UTC

agree entirely

2018-06-15 13:28:26 UTC

tfw worst of both

2018-06-15 13:28:30 UTC

2018-06-15 13:30:01 UTC

Japs are easybto spot due mannerism

2018-06-15 13:44:41 UTC

After looking at Japs for a while you can spot then by their clothing choices too

2018-06-15 13:45:20 UTC

I'm not so good at it yet but my gf often knows Japs by their clothes and the way they walk

2018-06-15 14:24:15 UTC

The japs I met were good buds to drink with
The japs I see usually behave so it's ok.
Chinks are infamous and fairly easy to spot beside the language so they usually don't get approached by Germans unless heavy yellow fever.

2018-06-15 19:37:37 UTC

Japs are very socially aware

2018-06-15 19:38:02 UTC

It's part of how they grew as a society

2018-06-15 19:38:18 UTC

They've always had hierarchies to respond to and it still shows nowadays

2018-06-15 21:40:22 UTC

it doesnt really help that chinks had their social norms and individuality essentially wiped out by the ccp

2018-06-15 22:08:13 UTC

Yes, Japs have always been taught to obey, chinks on the other hand have had the NSDAP treatment

2018-06-15 22:10:04 UTC

Or, well, NSDAP + CPSU treatment, I guess

2018-06-16 10:56:07 UTC

@Alfadir let's not post animal cruelty in here, thanks

2018-06-16 11:08:55 UTC
