Looking for more balanced sound
Love a good amount of bass
I guess it's 681 pham, I trust Hektik with this because he runs a blog :^)
I mean in all seriousness I thought it was 668b but a lot of people here are adamant I'm wrong so
either are alright
both need new pads
681 is cheaper and has better bass extension
but neither are monster 🅱ass
I don't own them I'm afraid, but this might help:
https://www.innerfidelity.com/content/superlux-hd-668b-and-hd-681-headphones
but you want an open/semi open, so you wont get a good ammount of bass without spending big bucks or going into trash mud territory
668b sound warm to tyll cause the midbass boost
tyll is a harmanfag
tbh best option is just hd681 + pads + eq
cheapest and both have similar technicalities
>681 lacks a removable cable
Never mind, fucking dropped. I'd rather be gassed by the Germans, to be honest.
oh what
no removable?
righto
Yeah, save yourself the trouble and just equip a soup can with a fucking string for fuck's sake
Not that it wouldn't be worth installing your own jack if you're that concerned with even frequency response but what the fuck do I know.

now I want the 668B cause muh balanced and removable cable
I'm just an autist for the removable-ness after relying on it for the last few years. Also juggling 8 feet of fucking cable is a retarded headache that just doesn't make sense within the boundries of the known universe.
just solder a 3.5 female im or some shit
Yeah I said earlier...I think.
In any case no normal human should be as off-put as I am by attached cable.
I'm ass at soldering
668B is free express shipping
so it's same price as 681
seems worth then
tfw ur so angry about a $20 headphone not having a removable jack you forgot that you can just buy a 50c jack and just do it yourself instead of acting like a big baby
/g/ - technology
im lazy
fuck off wind
>plastic wires
w h a t
from what you said it sounds like youre talking about the "fibre" for strength, but that stackexchange thing you linked is talking about enamel coated copper
just give it a go
enamel wire is a bitch
struth
I took it out of my hi2050s and replaced it with 22 awg copper from ali
