I remember learning of the story from one of our professors who portrayed it as “dindu nuffin eating skittles racist bad man killed him for no reason” and I was shocked. I couldn’t believe someone would be so racist. A modern day lynching. Then I learned more about it and was pretty insulted that my professor would lie to us like that. I respected her so much and she either lied or was played for a fool by the media
