I think some apps have built in filtering to remove ambient noise and only focus on your voice

but if a lot of other people are speaking that may cause problems

the big bars control the incoming audio, the small ones in the bottom right corner are for the outgoing audio. top right allows recording of specific channels

yeah, I have to use the virtual inputs because I can't afford a decent sound card to allow for multiple physical inputs
