see my biggest problem isn't with his content, and after watching his previous video I think he did make some valid criticisms, but he just comes off as annoying to me
@Innuendo TL;DR managed to get on my bad side when after the Brussels attack he want on a hate-campaign in his livestream - and in his comments - against religion in general
claiming all religion by default is authoritarian, resorting to calling the concept of God as a sky wizard (FEEL THE FEDORA)
He was arguing with one guy in the comments who wasn't making good arguments when I was actually making very thorough ones but he practically ignored responding to me
then his content strated to get really boring
I get people get angry after terrorist attacks, but there's absolutely no reason to point your finger at all religion unless you have some kind of agenda or an unresolved conflict in your life stemming from religion
oh wow didn't know all that
I hate the sky wizard comparisons though, it just makes the people who say that sort of stuff sound small minded
and yeah, saying that all religion is bad because of one religion, is basically the same logic as saying all imigrants or person of X color are criminals because of a few criminals who happen to be imigrants
or like all white people are racists because a few white people are racists
just that type of logic overall is pretty bad
Actually I wouldn't agree that comparing religion is the same as comparing race. At least on the most general level
now of course, if we're talking about that race/ethnicity's culture as a factor of that person's being than that could definitely apply in a similar manner to one's religion
but in your general sense you're using then yes you'd be totally correct
and I just realized I originally didn't read your comments correctly. Oh well, clarification is always a good thing
