this is hard to figure out
how is just normal betting on stuff like elections classified
it seems awfully authoritarian to make betting illegal
lots of laws made seemingly to protect the people from themselves... I wonder how things would be different if all gambling were completely legal federally
Oh it's totally ludicrous that gambling is illegal especially when you consider that most (all?) states run their own lotteries.
And speculating on stocks and commodities is legal even though that is basically the same thing as betting on Red and Black
I think gambling of any kind is stupid
Yeah
Even horse racing and things
Should be legal though
Went over so much chat... I'll just say, i'm for more baby killing and banning women.
eh idc
😉
Around.
I've got some videos to watch, will check out the one you linked.
i linked a video?
what was it i forgot already
Abortion.
oh you mean State Forced Pregnancy
@Clive Holy crap, i know you aren't around, but geez why would you link a video from philosophy tube... He is such a simpleton.
@Salacious Swanky Cat Conception is when sperm and egg merge. Implantation is when the fertilized egg reaches the uterus and establishes itself. They are separate events.
Ah. Ok.
I thought he was calling the sperm entering the egg implantation
No that's Sperm entering the female body I think
Fertilized egg implants in the uterus
Attaches to the lining and begins forming a placenta
I suppose you could call that conception since it’s when a woman is usually considered pregnant
But in pro-life lingo conception usually equals fertilization
So it depends on which definition you’re going with
That's the problem. No consistency
I've long thought implantation = conception = fertilization
Nope. Fertilization occurs in Fallopian tubes usually. Implantation occurs in the uterus.
But now I think that's not right but I don't have science background or education to know one way or the other
@yuma_8 yumacannyou give a simplistic timeline or order of operations?
I think conception is probably not the most precise term. Fertilization definitely is better.
Okay
You seem smart
Are you asian?
