I tried watching some plain ol webm's on my $100 tablet and it couldn't play them without heavy stuttering

and yeah a flagship phone is overkill but at least my memes don't lag

I occasionally have webm problems also, but that is due to software, if you download the webm and run from legit player it plays fine

but shitty browsers cant decode it

Even the cheap quad core SoC like the ones on rasberryPI's are strong enough to decode full HD movies
