I just wanted to use with my dekstop whilst I'm not on the go
I have the aluminium one
can probably work with an AUX cable but the sound will be totally garbage
@Smackymander my new PC comes tomorrow morning yo
>buying prebuilt
ishigdig wibbity dib gib gibbity dibble gid
@Smackymander me and a friend pooled money together and we bought x2 of the desktops for $248.
Each system has i5 3470, 4gb ddr3, 500gb HDD and 450W PSU. Talk about a deal
oh are you talking a mini pc?
No its a desktop tower
sliggity digwib fibbity nigdigdog giggity
I already have another 4gb ram laying around
$124 for a comfy setup, I'm not complaining
yeah that's a great deal
Its a big upgrade compared to my core 2 duo atm
I want to upgrade my pc but it's like $700 total
Its a meme to buy any CPU after haswell refresh tbh
but muh gamin
Muh 5 fps higher for $400 more
I don't really care about more fps I just don't want to drop fps which I'm doing now
Just don't play badly optimised games faggot
like I'm playing at 4k with a gtx 1070 and it runs great and I get a steady 70fps but then suddenly 30fps for a few seconds
Topkek
nah it's my amd vishera being shit
>1070
>drops to 30fps
Fucking kek
it's not the gpu because I had the same issue before with my 680
Every CPU AMD produced before ryzen was poo
Phenom II era was decent
Muh lack of single threaded performance
went to shit after bulldozer
would run fine at 70fps 1080p in overwatch and the the enemy dva ults and I'm looking at a slideshow
I have vishera/piledriver too
even at 4ghz, the thing's an oven
What play at 4K when you can play at 1080p with 16x MSAA
but it works and I'm too poor to buy a new CPU
I can turn all settings to lowest and STILL drop frames when crazy shit's happening so it must be my cpu
weird, I don't have issues playing overwatch with a fx8320 + rx480
anti aliasing is a meme, I actually prefer jaggies for the contrast and more clearly-defined hitboxes at long range
Hmm
@transience do you think it could be my mobo then? I cheaped out and got a $50 biostar when I built this rig like 5 years ago
also never changed the cpu thermal paste but according to temp monitors I'm not going above 60c while gaming
