they take their salaries, equipment cost, necesary running costs

2017-03-12 18:54:16 UTC

and rest goes to charity like that

2017-03-12 18:54:30 UTC

and every single organization can get it if they aply for it

2017-03-12 18:55:09 UTC

sure it would be fun to watch if state just whipped couple billion euros and shared them to org

2017-03-12 18:55:21 UTC

and did the "out of thin air" money magic every time

2017-03-12 18:55:39 UTC

well sure, you might have convinced me that the money goes to "good use", but I still dont get why they need to be private charities, instead of state and municipalities. We have welfare state where the state provides housing, welfare, medical help and social work, would it not simply be more efficient to do everything under the welfare state, instead of splitting it to smaller charities?

2017-03-12 18:55:42 UTC

world just does not sadly work like that

2017-03-12 18:56:01 UTC

Alko, which is another monopoly, returns all profit to the state

2017-03-12 18:56:12 UTC

Ray could simply do the same

2017-03-12 18:56:14 UTC

im not so sure about this but giving some power to "RAY" to choose private org

2017-03-12 18:56:27 UTC

might be "legal loophole" for state to support those groups

2017-03-12 18:56:49 UTC

as state cant directly support private organization by default here

2017-03-12 18:56:58 UTC

(i might be wrong on that one i need to check it)

2017-03-12 18:57:18 UTC

Alko is dying business model anyway

2017-03-12 18:58:10 UTC

if you want boring night read https://cms.veikkaus.fi/site/binaries/content/assets/dokumentit/vuosikertomus/ray/ray_vastuu_vuosiraportti_2016.pdf theres the yearly report (it actualy was quite hidden)

2017-03-12 18:58:20 UTC

its long read so yeah

2017-03-12 18:58:31 UTC

32th page startes the interesting stuff

2017-03-12 19:00:52 UTC

also doing everything undert welfare state is quite bad thing

2017-03-12 19:00:55 UTC

moneywise at least

2017-03-12 19:01:17 UTC

small organizations dont require nearly as much money as "trained professionals at offices"

2017-03-12 19:02:21 UTC

and equality wise more organizations = more people to decide how the money is to be spent == less chance for corruption ?

2017-03-12 19:02:55 UTC

well lesser € ammount goes to corruption .. technicaly more chance for corruption if left unchecked

2017-03-12 19:03:08 UTC

but yeah i understand very well what you mean

2017-03-12 19:03:14 UTC

and it would be "optimal world"

2017-03-12 19:03:35 UTC

Money just does not work that way sadly in real world :/

2017-03-12 19:03:40 UTC

nor does society as whole

2017-03-12 19:03:52 UTC

there is always some jealous fucker ruining things

2017-03-12 19:04:33 UTC

RAY is no means most effective way to share the money in perfect world

2017-03-12 19:04:49 UTC

its just best suitable for now for finland kind of deal haha

2017-03-12 19:05:12 UTC

well you convinced me to have a more lenient view on RAY, tomorrow im going to the nearest pelaamo and will gamble away all my property

2017-03-12 19:05:30 UTC

hahahaha moderation in everything

2017-03-12 19:06:00 UTC

but yeah id wish we could group all current organization as single large entity under goverment

2017-03-12 19:06:28 UTC

who would need to pass IQ-test and have logic-based brains and not emotional bullshitters

2017-03-12 19:07:10 UTC

so the money would actualy go where its needed and some proper professionals who are masters of moneyhandling would actualy help

2017-03-12 19:07:27 UTC

(thatd just need all those helpping hands to be under state payment too)

2017-03-12 19:07:47 UTC

(and volunteers would need to be audited and all that jazz)

2017-03-12 19:08:45 UTC

sometimes i feel like i rather give my money to private org. (EFF for example)

2017-03-12 19:08:49 UTC

than for state

2017-03-12 19:11:23 UTC

now to catch some Z's

2017-03-12 19:11:36 UTC

puppy dog sure sucks some energy out of man
