well to /g/s defense it has been steady uprise last few years

for linux users

I use linux on both my desktop and my laptop, besides the screen tearing and game support it's been great

but as I understand it (and I'm still new to all this so forgive me)

linux has screentearing b/c of something to do with the xorg video drivers

although I've tried switching to proprietary drivers and the problem persisted sooo

for me there has never been problem with amd stuff

more nvidia has caused problems with their driverworld stuff
