2017-04-30 20:33:25 UTC

I bought it from Yunnan Sourcing

2017-04-30 20:34:22 UTC

If you're looking to try chink tea for the first time, I recommennd jin xuan from eco cha

2017-04-30 20:34:26 UTC

hard to go wrong with that

2017-04-30 20:34:43 UTC

also some tie guan yin from teavivre or yunnan sourcing

2017-04-30 20:35:31 UTC

YS and teavivre have samples if you want to try

2017-04-30 20:37:17 UTC

noted

2017-04-30 20:37:23 UTC

eco cha has samples as well

2017-04-30 20:39:27 UTC

are all three paid shipping?

2017-04-30 20:39:57 UTC

teavivre has free shipping above $30

2017-04-30 20:40:04 UTC

yeah just noticed

2017-04-30 20:40:06 UTC

echocha has $5 off if you use SIGNUP coupon

2017-04-30 20:40:06 UTC

40$

2017-04-30 20:40:30 UTC

yeah I saw that, bringing it down to 1$ shipping

2017-04-30 20:41:01 UTC

YS is paid shipping, which is why I'll do a massive haul all at once next time

2017-04-30 20:41:27 UTC

Ill buy sample sized from eco cha then

2017-04-30 20:41:49 UTC

I haven't discovered the differences in tea yet, which ones do you recommend from eco-cha?

2017-04-30 20:41:56 UTC

I recommend wulongs, or tongting tea

2017-04-30 20:42:00 UTC

a part from Jin Xuan

2017-04-30 20:42:06 UTC

wtf is dingdong

2017-04-30 20:42:09 UTC

xD

2017-04-30 20:42:17 UTC

Jin Xuan from Eco Cha tastes like popcorn and butter, smells like popcorn

2017-04-30 20:42:42 UTC

Dong Ding is nice, a vegetal tasting Jin Xuan is how I'd describe it

2017-04-30 20:43:14 UTC

hmm, i see it on the bestsellers as well

2017-04-30 20:43:35 UTC

taiwan really does have a better tea industry

2017-04-30 20:44:03 UTC

I can't afford anything else from Eco Cha so that's all I can tell you

2017-04-30 20:44:05 UTC

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2017-04-30 20:44:09 UTC

absolutely despicable people otherwise

2017-04-30 20:44:13 UTC

but there are plenty of reviews on steepster

2017-04-30 20:44:22 UTC

mhm thanks

2017-04-30 20:45:08 UTC

What's the best way to brew after gongfu

2017-04-30 20:45:36 UTC

and how much can you brew with 20g

2017-04-30 20:46:21 UTC

the other main way is "western" brewing, which is really just steeping it in water for about 3 mins. 5g/350ml/3 mins are typical paramters.

2017-04-30 20:46:32 UTC

but I prefer gongfu much more anyway

2017-04-30 20:47:08 UTC

7g/130ml/25 seconds, adding 5 seconds each steep for oolong

2017-04-30 20:47:26 UTC

or 15 seconds, add 5 secs each steep for puer

2017-04-30 20:47:35 UTC

what's a steep

2017-04-30 20:47:45 UTC

immersion

2017-04-30 20:48:31 UTC

ah
