@Bonifacio a bit late to answer, but if you want to buy any phone for the camera, get a Pixel or Huawei P9 / P10. Or better yet, buy an actual camera of good quality like the Sony RX100 or panasonic LX15.

The mi6 camera**s** seems okay, but by /p/ standards it's still kinda meh

I'd much rather get a flipped p9 and put whatever ROM you want on it.

And the camera quality is maintained by other ROMs?

Specially with the p9/10 that's a bit dubious

Opencamera is usually better than manufacturers apps, google excluded.

Not sure why it matters since if you _actually_ care about image quality you're shooting raw and editing it anyway, so all that should matter is sensor and lens.

Because, as I'm seeing, Leica putted some callibration into the software

And not all my photos are going to be in RAW

it's not waterproof nor was it ever advertised as such

some pajeets on the mi forums spread that as part of their shilling and it lead to some youtube reviewer breaking his Mi6
